To lose weight, you have to burn more calories than you consume. Shelley structures her workout plans so that you can lose weight without ever dipping below a healthy amount of calories.
She also incorporates strength training into the workout plans which helps boost your metabolism so your body will burn more calories than it would if you were only doing cardio.
She aims to encourage you in your efforts to lose weight and to keep you accountable.
After children and a hectic life as a Southern Baptist Missionary, Shelley found herself overweight and in need of a full-body makeover. Although she was intimidated by the gym at first, she overcame her fear and started lifting weights along with cardio. She now considers it her ministry to help others follow her path to fitness.
