Motivation & Fit Gifts

This pic is an actual Facebook post from a Cyber Camper (creds: Michelle LC) that had just worked out in my early morning session. Her comment read “I get up at five every morning. This morning was a bit rough because it was so rainy and thundering! But after about 10 minutes of self talk I got myself up and put my fun pants on 😂“.

I love it!! There is nothing like fun pants to get you motivated to workout!!

What Motivates You?

We are all motivated by different things, but there are a few things I have found that can help set us all up for fitness success.

  • Workout Attire: Invest in some workout clothes! I can’t tell you how much harder you will work if you feel cute doing it and look the part. I can really tell the difference in my own workout when I rock the outfit or when I’m feeling sluggish in a sloppy tee. Your clothes just set the tone of how you feel. Invest in yourself! Go get you some fun pants!!
  • Workout Music: Nobody wants to workout in silence. Let the rhythm move you and help motivate you to keep going. Turn it up!!
  • A Workout Community: This can range from being in the same room with the same people everyday at the gym to meeting a friend and actually doing the same workout. Maybe group fitness is your thing and you enjoy being part of a group. I love my boot camp tribe! They push hard every morning together and are so encouraging to each other!! Maybe you workout at home and your community is your children or pets who are watching your every move. Maybe it’s your trainer on the other side of that video. I love training my cyber campers that are working so hard from home right now!! I’m so proud of them. Either way there is something about community and sharing common interests together. It’s a bond and it helps keep us accountable. Don’t let your community down. Keep showing up!!
  • Results: YES! Results are very motivating. There is nothing like the feeling of accomplishment when you realize that move was easier this time around. Getting stronger motivates you to get even stronger. Being less breathless during a cardio session motivates you to push harder or longer next time. However, you got to stick with it long enough to get some results so they can fuel your fire!! Hang in there. Results are coming!!
  • Variety: Varying your workout can help alleviate boredom and keep your body guessing as to what’s next. Trying new equipment or new exercises helps to keep it fresh and fun. I personally get bored without variety so I promise to give you variety in our workouts together!!

Boot Camp Information

Don’t be afraid of the term boot camp. We are a supportive group made up of many different fitness levels. I promise to offer modifications for those needing low impact or low intensity versions as well as help working around any joint issues you might have. I encourage you to try it from the comfort of your own home through Zoom. You can totally do it! Let me know if you have any questions. All camp sessions are 45 minutes in length.

December Camps:

There will be no camps Dec 21 – 31 due to the holidays but Cyber Campers can enjoy video access all month long. Price has been adjusted. We will resume in January to our normal schedule.

Boot Camp Live ($35) meets on Mondays & Wednesdays in person at the Life Center at either 5:30am or 7:30am (your choice). All campers bring their own mat and social distance during the workout (no shared equipment). We will only meet for 5 sessions in December due to the Christmas holidays.

Cyber Camp ($25) meets on Thursdays online via Zoom at 7:30am (5:30am Zoom will no longer meet). We will only meet for 3 sessions in December due to the Christmas holidays.

Cyber campers will also have access to a minimum of 4 extra prerecorded workouts as well as all new workouts posted after each Zoom session. Occasionally the trainer (being the really cool person she is) may even throw in a bonus workout of one of her personal workouts during the month. You never know. If she’s working out at home and the camera is rolling, it could happen. So even if you can’t make the Zoom session in person, you can do the recorded sessions anytime and as many times as you’d like during the month.

I have included a couple extra videos this month to get you through the holidays 🙂

Full Access ($60) includes access to both Boot Camp Live at the Life Center and Cyber Camp (Zoom sessions and video access to use anytime).

  • Live (1-3 classes):$10/ per class
  • Live (4+ classes): 4-5=$35
  • Cyber: $8/ per class (does not include video access)

Package payments must be made in advance and are only good for the month of the Boot Camp for which they were purchased.

Cyber Camp payment must be received 24 hours in advance to ensure receiving Zoom links in time for class. All links will be sent via email.
