Love Yourself
I want you to look at yourself in the mirror. Take a good look and say the first few things that pop into your head about your body. What did you say? Was it beneficial? Did it build up or tear down? If it was negative, let me give you something else to think about. Would you have said those same things to your friend about her image? No, of course not, you would never be cruel to a friend or let anyone else be cruel to her for that matter. You love your friend. You have her back. But do you love yourself in that same way?
According to 1 Corinthians 13…
Love is patient – A loved self is patient with herself when it comes to trying to create and stick to a new healthy habit. She doesn’t get mad, frustrated, and give up over a couple of missteps.
Love yourself with patience.
Love is kind – A loved self gives herself enough sleep, enough exercise, and enough nutritional fuel to get through her day. She is kind to her body and cares for herself physically and mentally. She even speaks to herself with kind words.
Love yourself with kindness.
Love does not envy – A self that is loved does not want to have someone else’s body. She is never discontented because of envy of another. She knows her body is amazing and can do amazing things and should be celebrated.
Love yourself without comparison.
Love does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking– A loved self does not put others down to try to lift up her own accomplishments. If we are loving ourselves properly, we are content and have no need to bash others (outloud or in private) to make ourselves feel better.
Love yourself so you can love others.
Love is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs – A body that is loved is not treated badly when the number on the scale rises. It does not starve itself or try to punish itself for a weekend binge. It does not focus on past failures. Each day can be a fresh do-over.
Love yourself with forgiveness.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth – A loved self does not accept lies about herself. She knows the source of all lies and rebukes them. A loved self rejoices in the truth of being fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God.
Love yourself with truth.
Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres – A loved self is protected by a healthy balance of all things in her life including nutrition, exercise, and spiritual growth. She keeps on keeping on and striving to be the best she can be without getting discouraged.
Love yourself with determination.
Love never fails
Love yourself faithfully.
9am: A New Time & a New Basic Class

I am so excited to offer another Boot Camp time slot to my Live and Cyber schedule!! If you are limited on time or really like the thoughts of not having to wake up so early to exercise, this class is for you! I’m going to give it a trial run through February and see if we have enough interest to make it a permanent addition. We will be focusing on basic fitness and strength and as always I will show modifications. If you’re interested, be sure to register below and please don’t be afraid of the term boot camp. We are a supportive group made up of many different fitness levels. You can totally do it! Let me know if you have any questions.
Try It at Home
If you’d like to see what a BASIC30 class looks like from home, just hit this link before it expires on Feb 1st and give it a try it. http://tiny.cc/BASIC30.
Each workout will vary and obviously Live in the gym will look a little different than Zoom at home but this video will be some indication what the workouts will be like. It will also show you what it would be like to workout at home to a prerecorded video from my Cyber Camp video library. For more information about that see the Cyber Camp section below.
New Campers
Register Here: http://tiny.cc/FMFform. Existing campers do not have to register again. I have your information on file and your payment will serve as a confirmation for this camp.
